In the dead of winter, I still dream of the view and the mountains and sunrise over the Mediterranean. But we had to give up Moxlos after it became part of the EU. Airfares doubled, and prices for the rental of house and car more than tripled. People who’d been part of our group for years could no longer afford to go. Since then, we’ve rented houses in Maine, Oregon, Michigan, and Tobago, looking to capture that Moxlos magic. We haven’t found it yet but continue our search. We fantasize about returning to Moxlos and look for any excuse to make that fantasy a reality.
